With oversight responsibility for the organization, Kion also leads B&A's entry into and development of information security and intelligence market. As such, he is deeply involved in significant aspects of the company's security clearance process and infrastructure, facilitating the requirements for "cleared" resources for B&A's strategic client contracts.

Prior to joining B&A, Kion provided management and financial consulting to small businesses specializing in real estate, restaurant, radio broadcasting, import/export trading, investment funds, and information technology. Between 1982 and 1989, Kion held finance and accounting positions with multi-national organizations including the American Red Cross, Comsat Communications Corporation, and Deak Perera, an international precious metals and currency trader.

Kion volunteers for Food for Others, a non-profit food bank. Kion completed a BS degree in Accounting from Indiana University.
