Ted Bagheri, Chief Operating Officer

Ted brings to B&A more than 20 years of operational management expertise, including 15 years of senior-level executive experience with Hoover's Media Technologies, Hi-Tech Resources and Conquest Software. He has provided hands-on leadership and direction for finance, corporate development, human resources, and strategic planning. Ted is adept at negotiating and closing major contracts, as well as developing and monitoring business relationships at the highest levels. He is experienced in raising capital and executing the IPO process. Ted has a solid track record of executing financial and operational plans for technology-based companies.

Prior to joining B&A, Ted was a Principal with Infinity Venture Group, a venture capital services organization. As the Chief Financial Officer for Hoover's Media Technologies, from 1997 to 2001, Ted was instrumental in steering the company through the IPO process and the negotiation and completion of the sale of the company. During this time, he also negotiated the acquisition of two business units from IBM (IBM InfoMarket and Lotus Newsstand). Prior to his role at Hoover's Media Technologies, Ted was the Chief Financial Officer at Hi-Tech Resources, a leading national computer training, consulting and publishing organization. He managed all aspects of finance, human resources, contracts, operations and administration and prepared the company for its acquisition by UOL, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company.

As the Vice President - Finance/Chief Financial Officer at Conquest Software, Ted was instrumental in the negotiation and the completion of the due diligence for the acquisition of ConQuest Software by Excalibur Technologies, a NASDAQ listed company. Ted began his professional career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in London, England.

Ted graduated from the University of Manchester in England where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Accounting. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
