About us/Management Team/Vince Bartozzi
Vince Bartozzi, Founder and President bartozzi@bna-inc.com
Since co-founding B&A in 1988, Vince Bartozzi has led the project management of the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Treasury Enforcement Communications System (TECS). Vince has shepherded this systems development project into its current 130-person team with revenues of $20 million each year. He also continues to provide technical consulting on the project and offers expertise in "subject type processing" that enables queries of CBP enforcement systems. Vince was also instrumental in creating the teaming relationship with IBM to support the $1.5 billion e-Customs Partnership (eCP) program based on B&A's two decades of domain expertise on various CBP systems.
Vince is responsible for B&A's efforts to improve quality and client satisfaction and for initiating and spearheading the company's initiative on process improvement. B&A was assessed at Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level 2 in January 2002.
Prior to founding B&A, Vince consulted at CBP for six years through Bart Consultants, a sole-proprietorship. Vince served as senior analyst/consultant for Electronic Data Systems (EDS), International Business Machines (IBM), Booz-Allen and Hamilton (BAH), and Mid Atlantic Toyota Corporation. He holds a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut. Vince is actively involved in several adult basketball and baseball leagues and coaches youth sport leagues throughout the year.
