During the assessment phase of the project, it was realized that Eli Lilly's global systems and business processes lacked key integration points, which directly impacted the company's performance. B&A consultants worked as members of Eli Lilly's application development team to re-engineer their global business processes using a SAP R/3 platform. Major processes to be consolidated included: research and development, manufacturing, finance and human resources. B&A consultants supported all areas of the software life-cycle development from global blueprint to realization to post-production support. Our SAP consultants developed and tested various solutions including but not limited to system interfaces, conversions, reports, and enhancements. These solutions were thoroughly documented and reviewed to ensure quality and knowledge transfer. Areas of support included:
