B&A Acquires Celestar, Expanding Intelligence Capabilities Across Defense and Intelligence Markets

Acquisition Broadens B&A’s Intelligence Capabilities and Strengthens its Position as a Growing National Security Partner

McLean, Va., January 13, 2026 – B&A, a leading information technology systems integrator serving the federal government, today announced it has acquired Celestar Corporation, a global, multi-disciplinary intelligence services and solutions provider.

Celestar provides specialized intelligence and analytic support to U.S. government customers, including organizations within the Department of Defense, the Department of State, and the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). Founded in 2004, the company began by supporting counterterrorism missions and has since grown to address evolving national security priorities. Today they deliver analytic, strategic, training, and professional solutions across their three core services: Intelligence Analysis & Enabling Services, Data Enterprise Support, and Training & Professional Services.

The acquisition adds multi-INT disciplines to B&A’s existing offerings: Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Measurement and Signals Intelligence (MASINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT). These capabilities strengthen B&A’s intelligence offerings and improve its ability to pursue larger federal opportunities.

“Combining our strengths with Celestar’s All Source Intelligence expertise is a transformative step for B&A,” said Jonathan Evans, President and CEO of B&A. “This acquisition is a growth multiplier, not only in capability but in customer reach. It immediately positions us as a full-spectrum intelligence provider, bringing us closer to the warfighter and opening up new, high-value contracts. This strategic alignment ensures we can deliver the end-to-end solutions our government partners need to meet the most complex national security challenges.” Celestar’s experience augments B&A’s GEOINT work and positions the combined company to pursue deeper and more complex opportunities at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and the Combatant Commands (COCOMs).

“We are excited to join B&A and its heritage of service,” said Gregory Celestan, CEO of Celestar. “B&A’s dedicated focus on mission-first service delivery and their commitment to retaining our leadership team ensures a seamless transition. Our employees will benefit from B&A’s Centers of Excellence and service delivery approach, while gaining the scale and resources necessary to deliver even greater impact across the defense intelligence enterprise. Joining B&A will help accelerate growth in our intelligence and national security business and enable us to pursue a broader customer base across additional markets.”

The integration of Celestar marks a significant milestone in B&A’s continued investment, supported by its private equity partner, DFW Capital Partners, in building a next-generation, mission-first consulting platform.
