Hope for Henry Names Jonathan Evans to its Board of Directors

Washington, DC – December 14, 2016 – Jonathan Evans, hardworking executive and philanthropist, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Washington, DC-based Hope for Henry Foundation. Mr. Evans, President of Bart & Associates, puts a strong emphasis on volunteering, charitable efforts, and leading and inspiring his staff to take on new initiatives, learn new technologies, and push boundaries. In addition to leading an organization with a constant focus on delivering the best value to the Federal Government, Mr. Evans serves as a mentor to Bart & Associates’ employees and small business partners.

“Jonathan’s long-time devotion to make the lives of kids and families better paired with his local leadership and commitment to philanthropy make him a natural choice to join Hope for Henry’s board of directors,” said Laurie Strongin, Hope for Henry Foundation’s CEO. “With his proven business acumen, we chose Jonathan for his ability to help lead Hope for Henry as we continue to grow and serve more children in more hospitals.”

Over the last year, Mr. Evans and the company have supported Shine on Casey which awards a scholarship to a high school graduate; Rebuilding Together Montgomery County (RTMC) which provides housing assistance to vulnerable residents; the Cardinal Bank Classic which supports nonprofit initiatives in the areas of children and families, healthcare and wellness, arts and humanities, and educational services; Chance for Life 2016 which supports pediatric cancer; the Celtino Foundation which promotes education in rural Latin America; and the Asian American Lead (AALEAD) which supports underserved youth. In addition, Mr. Evans served on the Washington Business Hall of Fame Committee of the Board of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington for three years, which was responsible for raising over $1 million dollars a year for Junior Achievement.
