The Washington Post Names B&A a 2021 Top Washington-Area Workplace
McLean, VA – June 18, 2021 – B&A has been named one of The Washington Post’s 2021 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. Selection is based solely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, which measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection. This year’s honorees include government contractors, real estate firms, professional and business services, law firms and tech companies.
Having been in business for 30+ years, B&A has always made strides to grow with the changing times and ensure our corporate culture reflects those changes accordingly. B&A celebrates successes and regularly holds social and team building events that encourage interaction and relieve stress. Some activities include meditation sessions, seasonal celebrations, and fitness challenges. B&A also implemented the B&A Cares Program as a direct response to COVID-19. Through the program a registered counselor was hired to connect with employees and quarterly care packages were delivered to all employees. At B&A, you can visibly witness the positive workforce, the open-door policy that illustrates our open and honest interaction amongst all levels of the organization, and the healthy work-life balance.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Washington Post Top Workplace,” said Jonathan Evans, B&A President and CEO. “This recognition is truly special because the judges were our employees. Without their dedication to our mission, this achievement would not have been possible.”
The Washington Post hosted a virtual awards ceremony on Thursday, June 17 to recognize the top-ranked companies. For more about The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces and to see the full list of this year’s honorees, visit www.washingtonpost.com.
